Will my rates increase if I file a claim? No. Hail damage is considered an act of nature, not an at fault claim.
-
What is PDR?PDR or Paintless Dent Repair is a method of removing minor dents or dings without removing any paint from the vehicle. This is done by patiently massaging the dent out from behind the panels, or from the front using specialized tools.
-
Why choose Paintless Dent Repair (PDR)?Paintless Dent Repair is superior to conventional repair because your vehicle does not lose any value in the repair process due to replacement of your OEM panels, paint, or parts with aftermarket substitutes, as done with conventional repair.
-
Will hail damage be reported on my Carfax? No. Unlike standard body shops, we do not report to Carfax because we do not replace panels.
-
How long do repairs take?Repairs typically take between 7-12 days. We currently average 8 days for repair time.
-
Why choose Hail Genie instead of my insurance company's recommended shop?Unlike your insurance company's preferred shops, we do not skimp on repairs in order to save your insurance company money. Instead, we work with your insurance company directly on your behalf.
-
What if my insurance didn't give me enough money to pay for repairs?Insurance companies often give you less than what repairs would actually cost, in the hopes that you never get your vehicle repaired and save them money. We will submit a supplemental estimate to get the additional funds to cover the actual cost of repairs.
-
Should I wait until my car gets hit with more hail before filing a hail claim?Absolutely NOT. When your vehicle suffers multiple hail storms, dents will overlap each other, in severe cases making it impossible for your vehicle to qualify for PDR.
